The MapBasic_Resource site was designed to offer to MapBasic programmers a support in writing MB programs by providing them with elements of code like functions and subroutines, parameters for the inclusion of calls to external resources and examples of solutions to typical situations. It will also provide links or direct downloads to documents of interest to MB programmers. This site is structured in five main sections, some of which are not yet developped:

the MB_R project

The main objectives of the MB_Resource project. Its structure. How to contribute to it and the "Contributor's Kit".
Functions and Subs
Functions and Subs written in MapBasic. Can be imported directly into any MB program. All required defines included.
DLL calls
Declare definitions in MB language of calls to various DLLs. Includes generic DLL (e.g. Kernell32) as well as MI specific (e.g. MiGrid) and user defined ones.
MB scripts
These code listings can be fragments of possible programs, or full fledge programs, offered as ways to show how to use some of the resources described in the other sections, or how to face some relatively frequent situations.
Documents
Different documents judged useful to programmers and that are not generally available.
You can also access directly the DOWNLOAD area for the codes and documents presented in the various sections and available possibly in different formats or packages. You will be able to get acquainted with the people behind all that by peeking into the Contributors' Gallery.

There is also a group e-mail account MB_resources@yahoogroups.com that is set up as another way to generate support for MB programmers. To join this group, visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MB_resources
