BTS "Géomètre-Topographe" (Antibes)

Objectifs de la formation

Le technicien supérieur Géomètre Topographe est amené à effectuer des mesures sur le terrain au moyen d’appareils de haute technologie (stations totales électroniques, GPS, niveaux numériques, distance mètres, etc.). Il transcrira ensuite ces mesures au moyen de l’outil informatique soit sur des documents graphiques (plans, cartes réalisés en DAO) soit sur des supports purement numériques pour être ensuite traités, par exemple, dans des systèmes d’information géographiques. Il peut aussi être amené à positionner des constructions sur un chantier, à piloter ou contrôler des réalisations concrètes.
Il doit aussi avoir des notions de droit civil et de droit de l’urbanisme car il peut assister un géomètre expert dans des divisions de parcelles, des bornages (le géomètre expert étant le seul professionnel en France habilité à réaliser un bornage). Ce métier permet de concilier travail en extérieur lors des mesures ou implantations et le travail de bureau qui utilise essentiellement l’outil informatique.

  • Niveau d'entrée : Baccalauréat STI génie civil. Les bacheliers scientifiques réussissent bien dans cette formation. Les bacheliers professionnels du secteur sont admis sur dossier et avec mention à l’examen (B, TB). Les étudiants qui se réorientent après un parcours en université ou classe prépa. réussissent aussi très bien dans cette formation.
