Objectifs :
- Maîtriser les concepts de base des SIG
- Appréhender l’étendue des applications
- Aborder les données disponibles, leur nature, leur mode d’utilisation et leurs bases cartographiques
- S’initier aux techniques et méthodes par la manipulation de logiciels SIG
Ce stage permet d'acquérir ou de consolider ses connaissances sur les concepts de base des S.I.G., les applications dans les différents domaines, les données, les logiciels et matériels. Une alternance de travaux pratiques et d’interventions théoriques permet aux stagiaires d’assimiler les concepts fondamentaux et d’avoir des réponses à leurs problématiques personnelles.

Public concerné : Techniciens, chargés d’études, ingénieurs, chercheurs… ayant déjà eu ou pas une pratique des outils SIG et souhaitant obtenir une culture de l’information géographique.
Pré-requis : Bonne maîtrise de l’environnement Windows

Contenu des enseignements en géomatique :
- 1er jour : concepts de base, applications, fonctions des SIG
- 2e jour : la représentation de l’information, les données
- 3e jour : bases de cartographie, micro-projet
- 4e jour : bases de données, micro-projet
- 5e jour : notion de bases de données, compléments
