Master "Sciences de l'information géographique" (Marne-la-Vallée)

Objectifs de la formation

Maîtriser les modes d'acquisition, de traitement et d'exploitation de l'information géographique grace en particulier aux technologies informatiques et spatiales actuelles.
La formation se décline en 5 axes prioritaires:
1- Connaissances approfondies de la forme et de la surface de la terre: géodésie, topographie.
2- Extraction de l'information géographique par analyse et traitement d'images aérospatiales, photogrammétrie, télédétection.
3- Bases de données géographiques, systèmes d'information géographique, analyse spatiale.
4- Restitution cartographique de l'information.
5- Mise en oeuvre dans de nombreux champs d'application, notamment dans la réalisation d'un projet d'étude et d'un stage de fin de scolarité.

  • Niveau d'entrée : Pour une inscription en formation initiale :

- avoir validé une année de Master dans un domaine scientifique ou être titulaire d'un diplôme pouvant donner lieu à équivalence (ingénieur, médecin, agronome …) en France ou à l'étranger.
- dans certains cas, des élèves-ingénieurs en dernière année d'école peuvent intégrer la formation. Une convention Ecole-Université doit alors préciser les modalités de cette année de scolarité “commune”.
- les étudiants dits non scientifiques se référeront à l'& “Mise à niveau” du paragraphe “Organisation de la formation”.
Pour une inscription en formation continue:
- le candidat doit justifier, soit des conditions précédentes, soit d'une expérience professionnelle de plusieurs années dans le domaine de l'Information Géographique.
