Dear Colleagues,

First of all, we would like to thank you very much for your
participation to the  PPGIS Web based observatory design survey . This
survey was the first participatory step of a project aiming at
developping a PGIS/PPGIS Web based observatory. The total number of
participants is 108. The preliminary result of the survey are available,
by clicking on the link mentionned on the following page

Taking into account this results, we are currently working on a beta
version of the Observatory (database design and developement, technical
specifications of the web site...). We are expecting to make this beta
version avaible by the middle of June. Then we will feed it with a few
cases to make it usable and testable, and will be back to you to the
second participatory step. We will give you the opportunity to test the
beta version and to provide us some feed back in order to move away to a
first operational version of our PGIS/PPGIS Web based observatory.
