Hi,

You are invited to submit a manuscript for consideration in a special issue of "Natural Hazards" on the use of remote sensing in natural hazard and disaster management. This issue is intended to describe to non-remote sensing specialists, applications of this technology in natural hazard and disaster management.

The journal is an international, peer-reviewed publication of the International Society for the Prevention and Mitigation of Natural Hazards focusing on natural hazards and disaster management and published by Kluwer Academic Press

For now, we have already papers on flooding, fires and hurricanes. We are particularly interested to receive papers on geological hazards like landslides and earthquakes as well as avalanches and extreme climate events (hot/cold temperatures, drought)
