Consolidation théorique et technique d’un modèle d’équilibre territorial dynamique : finalisation d’un outil SIG et valorisation scientifique

Projet de recherche : BEST (Bâtir un socle théorique pour la notion d’Équilibre du Système Territorial)
Ce stage s’inscrit dans la continuité de deux stages précédents menés dans le cadre du projet BEST. Le premier a porté sur la construction d’un cadre théorique interdisciplinaire autour des notions de bien-être, d’équilibre et de système territorial. Le second s’est concentré sur la mise en œuvre technique de ces concepts à travers le développement d’un prototype SIG d’aide à la décision.

Ce troisième stage vise à consolider les acquis de ces deux expériences pour :
- Réaliser une synthèse conceptuelle et opérationnelle des travaux,
- Affiner et stabiliser le prototype SIG développé,
- Produire une valorisation scientifique sous forme d’un article et d’une communication.

Une attention particulière sera portée à la formalisation des résultats sous une forme structurée et communicable, conforme aux standards scientifiques des domaines concernés (géomatique, aménagement, urbanisme, systèmes territoriaux).
Missions principales :
- Synthèse croisée des travaux théoriques et techniques issus des deux stages précédents.
- Relecture critique et amélioration de l’outil SIG existant : fiabilité, interface, cohérence avec le modèle théorique.
- Participation à l’élaboration d’un article scientifique (revue ciblée à définir).
- Préparation d’une communication orale ou d’un poster pour un séminaire ou colloque.
Missions secondaires :
Des missions annexes pourront être confiées :
- Enrichissement bibliographique sur des points spécifiques,
- Réalisation d’entretiens ou d’une enquête pour pondérer les indicateurs identifiés.
Profil recherché
Niveau d'études : Stage accessible aux étudiants en fin d'études d’ingénieur, master 2, Bac+5 ou équivalent.

Formation : Urbanisme, génie urbain, géographie, géomatique ou disciplines en lien avec l’analyse des systèmes territoriaux.

Compétences attendues :
- Excellentes capacités de synthèse et de rédaction scientifique ;
- Maîtrise des outils SIG ;
- Autonomie, rigueur et intérêt pour la recherche interdisciplinaire ;
- Bon niveau de français et/ou d’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.

Internship Offer – BEST Project
Title:
Theoretical and technical consolidation of a dynamic territorial equilibrium model: finalization of a GIS tool and scientific dissemination
Detailed Description of the Internship
Research Project: BEST (Building a Theoretical Foundation for the Concept of Territorial System Equilibrium)
This internship follows two previous research internships carried out within the BEST project. The first focused on building an interdisciplinary theoretical framework around the concepts of well-being, equilibrium, and territorial systems. The second focused on the technical implementation of these concepts through the development of a GIS-based decision-support prototype.

This third internship aims to consolidate the outcomes of the previous two by:
- Conducting a conceptual and operational synthesis of the work,
- Refining and stabilizing the developed GIS prototype,
- Producing scientific output in the form of a paper and a conference communication.

Special attention will be paid to structuring and communicating the results according to scientific standards in relevant fields (geomatics, spatial planning, urbanism, territorial systems).
Main Tasks:
- Cross-synthesis of the theoretical and technical work from the two previous internships.
- Critical review and improvement of the existing GIS tool: reliability, interface, alignment with the theoretical model.
- Contribution to the drafting of a scientific article (target journal to be defined).
- Preparation of an oral presentation or poster for a seminar or conference.
Additional Tasks:
Additional tasks may include:
- Bibliographic enrichment on specific points,
- Conducting interviews or surveys to weight and validate the identified indicators.
Candidate Profile
Required Level: Final-year engineering students, Master’s level (M2) or equivalent (Bac+5).

Academic Background: Urban planning, urban engineering, geography, geomatics, or related fields focused on territorial system analysis.

Expected Skills:
- Excellent synthesis and scientific writing skills,
- Proficiency in GIS tools,
- Strong autonomy, rigor, and interest in interdisciplinary research,
- Good written and oral proficiency in French and/or English.
