Master SIGAT "Système d'information géographique et aménagement des territoires" (Rennes)

Objectifs de la formation


Le Master SIGAT vise à former des professionnels disposant d'une excellente maîtrise des outils et méthodes géomatiques appliqués à l'analyse et à l'aménagement des territoires. Les diplômés SIGAT sont aptes à saisir et à poser en termes clairs et selon une démarche scientifique, les enjeux liés aux territoires, leurs mutations, leurs perspectives d'aménagement.
Le contenu de la formation SIGAT est centré sur la chaîne de traitements de l'information géographique permettant d'établir des diagnostics, des vues synthétiques, des scenarii utiles à l'élaboration des politiques de gestion et d'observation des territoires.
La formation, assurée à hauteur de 30% par des professionnels extérieurs, est échelonnée sur quatre semestres. Elle s'appuie sur des cours théoriques, techniques, pratiques et méthodologiques (gestion de projet, résolution de problèmes, mises en situation, etc.), des ateliers professionnels, des conférences d'intervenants extérieurs, des visites de sites et la réalisation de deux stages en milieu professionnel.
Le master SIGAT qui a fêté ses 10 ans en avril 2012 entretient un lien étroit avec son réseau d'anciens diplômés (au nombre de 210 en 2015), notamment à travers l'association eSIGAT et avec le Réseau Géomatique de l'Ouest.
