STS "Géomètre-Topographe" (Lyon)

Objectifs de la formation

La STS (Section de Technicien Supérieur) est une formation préparant au BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) en une durée de deux ans. C'est un diplôme de niveau bac + 2. La STS Géomètre -Topographe permet d’acquérir les connaissances technologiques nécessaires soit à l’intégration rapide de l’étudiant dans divers services topographiques privés ou publics, soit à la poursuite éventuelle d’études en cycle supérieur long (ingénieur).

Caractéristiques

Au cours de leur formation, les étudiants acquièrent les connaissances théoriques et pratiques et les savoir-faire demandés à l’examen du BTS. L’outil informatique est intégré au travail des étudiants, qui disposent de matériels spécifiques, ainsi que des logiciels généraux et professionnels

  • Niveau d'entrée : Peuvent faire acte de candidature les titulaires : du baccalauréat scientifique (ils représentent 95% de l’effectif de la section, qui comporte 24 étudiants),du baccalauréat STI option Génie Civil et du Brevet de Technicien Topographe, s’ils possèdent de très bons dossiers.

  • Discipline(s) : . Enseignement général 13 heures dont : Français : 3 heures, Langue Vivante : 2 heures, Mathématiques : 5 heures, Sciences Physiques : 3 heures. Un enseignement complémentaire de mathématiques et de physique est prévu pour les élèves préparant le concours d’entrée à l’ESGT.

Enseignement professionnel 22 heures dont : Théorique : 11 heures : Topographie, Droit professionnel, Aménagement. Pratique : 11 heures en demi-classe : Informatique appliquée, Travaux de terrain, Études de projets.
