MapGuide
La technologie MapGuide (Autodesk) permet de créer et publier des cartes et des informations de conception rapidement et facilement pour une distribution en Intranet ou sur Internet. Elle représente une solution de cartographie sur le web parmi les plus simples.
On trouve plusieurs versions de ces outils, dont le descriptif figure ci dessous en version Libre ou Propriétaire. Tout d'abord, Mapguide Entreprise (propriétaire) ou Mapguide Open Source (Libre) qui est la couche fonctionnelle de MapGuide. Ensuite, on trouve MapGuide Studio (propriétaire) ou Mapguide Maestro (Open Source) qui est un environnement de création convivial de Mapguide.
MapGuide Enterprise

MapGuide Enterprise offre une plate-forme puissante qui facilite et accélère la diffusion des informations cartographiques, à moindre coût. MapGuide Open Source
MapGuide permet le développement et le déploiement rapide d'applications de cartographie Web et de services Web. Il offre un visualisateur interactif qui permet la sélection d'entités, l'inspection d'attributs, l'affichage d'étiquettes, et des opérations telles que les calculs de zones tampon, les requêtes spatiales, les mesures de distance. MapGuide est compatible avec les formats de fichiers, bases de données et normes géospatiales les plus populaires. MapGuide peut être installé sur Linux ou Windows et offre des interfaces de programmation étendues pour les environnements PHP, .NET, Java et JavaScript.
MapGuide Open Source est couvert par une licence LGPL.
