Problème traduction générique Oracle => MIF/MID

Aloha
J'utilise en entrée un définition générique de mes tables spatiales (i.e. elles sont regroupées en une seule entité). Et en sortie, la définition de mes tables MIF/MID est elle aussi générique ; le modèle de données est récupéré de la définition des tables en entrée. Ceci reste très pratique, mais je rencontre un problème. Certains champs oracle ont été définis en VARCHAR2(4000), et ceci est beaucoup trop long pour des tables MIF/MID qui seront importées en TAB dans MI.
Est-il possible de redéfinir la longueur de ces champs sans pour autant définir autant de MDD en sortie qu'il y aura de table ?
Existe-t'il un transformer qui pourrait faire cela ?

PS. Je suis en train d'étudier ces exemples mais je ne comprends pas encore tout.

PPS. J'ai essayé en définissant un jeu de données comme données ressources (un lot de fichier MIF/MId avec les entêtes, le nom des attributs et leur longueur pour ceux que je souhaite conserver).
