Objectifs de la formation


La topographie regroupe l’ensemble des techniques qui ont pour objet de donner avec précision, la position et les dimensions d’éléments existant à la surface du sol ou de représenter la surface terrestre elle-même.

Elle constitue le support de base de nombreux travaux d’aménagement.

L’enseignement de la topographie porte surtout sur la saisie des données (observations et mesures, méthodes de lever et d’implantation), les traitements numériques et les traitements graphiques. Les enseignements sont dispensés sous forme de cours, de travaux pratiques ou travaux dirigés. Les mathématiques occupent une large place dans l’enseignement. En effet, la topographie demande une bonne maîtrise de la géométrie dans le plan et dans l’espace. Un stage obligatoire de 6 à 8 semaines a lieu en fin de 1ère année d’études.

  • Niveau d'entrée : L’enseignement est proposé à des candidats titulaires d’un baccalauréat de second degré Série S. Les titulaires du brevet de technicien topographe, d’un bon niveau, peuvent accéder à cette formation. Une section spéciale d’adaptation existe pour eux en région parisienne.
