Description de l'offre de formation
Objectifs de la formation : Les enseignements du D.U. SIGmage (Systèmes d’Information Géographique et Méthodes de l’Analyse Géographique) doivent permettre la maîtrise des démarches de l’analyse spatiale et l’acquisition de méthodes propres à l’enquête et aux Systèmes d’Information Géographique. Ce diplôme offre aux étudiants la possibilité d’acquérir une formation spécifique dans la production, le traitement et l’analyse de l’information géographique assistés par l’outil SIG, et d’appliquer leur savoir-faire géographique dans le monde professionnel.
Les enseignements proposés couvrent l’intégralité de la chaine d’acquisition et de traitement de l’information géographique : enquêtes (élaboration, échantillonnage et plan de sondage, saisie, traitements), analyse spatiale (théorie et pratique), statistiques uni et multi-variées, cartographie statistique, édition cartographique, base de données et systèmes d’information géographique, web mapping.

Contenu des enseignements en géomatique : Théories des SIG et applications sur des cas pratiques (logiciels : Mapinfo, ArcGis, QGis). Les cours de cartographie statistique sont effectués avec le support du logiciel Philcarto, les traitements statistiques sont également menés sous SAS.
Nombre d'heures des enseignements en géomatique : 85 heures (+ 40 h d'auto-formation en atelier, correspondant à la réalisation d'un microprojet).
Durée totale de la formation : 1 an, dont 3 à 5 mois de stage
