“L'Université de Sherbrooke, fondée en 1954, est une université francophone située à Sherbrooke, Québec au Canada, dans la région de l'Estrie. Selon un sondage effectué auprès de 16 955 étudiants universitaires canadiens dont les résultats sont publiés en octobre 2016 dans le magazine Maclean's, l'Université de Sherbrooke est la plus appréciée par ses étudiantes et étudiants parmi les 15 grandes universités canadiennes dotées de facultés de médecine. Microprogrammes de 2e cycle en géomatique appliquée (Sherbrooke et Longueuil - Qc - Canada)
Les programmes proposés, quoique courts, offrent chacun un contenu spécialement conçu pour répondre à un réel besoin d’utilisation des technologies de la géo-information dans les milieux professionnels. Les étudiants deviennent rapidement fonctionnels après avoir suivi l’un ou l’autre des programmes proposés.
Les cours suivis dans le cadre des microprogrammes et du diplôme en géomatique appliquée sont reconnus (équivalences) dans le cheminement de type cours en géodéveloppement durable de la maîtrise en sciences géographiques offertes également par notre département.
En choisissant de poursuivre des études de 2e cycle dans l’un des programmes courts en géomatique, l’étudiant vise à acquérir en peu de temps de solides compétences en matière d’analyse. Suivis à temps plein, les microprogrammes peuvent être terminés en une session de 4 mois.
3 différents microprogrammes sont offerts, présentant chacun un contenu de cours différents, soit:
* Microprogramme de 2e cycle en sciences géomatiques
* Microprogramme de 2e cycle en observation de la Terre par télédétection
* Microprogramme de 2e cycle en géomatique pour la gestion du territoire
