Généralités sur les données MAJIC III
Les données cadastrales mises à disposition de divers organismes sont connues sous l'appellation MAJIC II.
A compter de 2009, elles prennent l'appellation de MAJIC III, terme qui sera systématiquement utilisé dans cet espace, même si des données antérieures peuvent être encore utilisées.
MAJIC est l'acronyme de Mise A Jour des Informations Cadastrales et désigne en fait le logiciel de gestion utilisé par les services du Cadastre, les suffixes II ou III, désignant des versions majeures du logiciel.
Les données mises à disposition des organismes habilités par la DGFiP sont gérées et mise à jour par les services du Cadastre (CDIF, Centre des Impôts Foncier)grâce à l'applicatif dénommé MAJIC II (MAJIC III à compter de l'année 2009).
Ce logiciel a vu le jour dans les années 1970, et la structure des données gérées remonte à cette époque.
Le logiciel a connu plusieurs évolutions notables :
- MAJIC I de son début jusqu'au milieu des années 1980 : saisie centralisée par des opérateurs (Centre Régionaux Informatiques)
- MAJIC Inter : jusqu'au début des années 1990, évolutions mineures, préparant le futur déploiement de MAJIC II. La saisie est toujours centralisée
- MAJIC II : décentralisation de la saisie, à partir du début des années 1990, déploiement de l'applicatif de gestion dans les CDIF, effectuée au moyen de terminaux passifs, connectés aux CRI, via des liaisons TRANSPAC. Le déploiement s'est échelonné sur environ 2 ans sur l'ensemble du territoire national.
A partir du début des années 2000, les terminaux passifs ont été remplacés par des PC, toujours connectés aux CRI.
Depuis le début des années 2000, les évolutions notables dans les modalités de mises à jour sont :
- l'interconnexion avec l'applicatif PCI-Vecteur ou PCI-Image
- l'interconnexion avec FIDGI, application de gestion des actes de mutations de la Conservation des Hypothèques
