Déclinaison magnétique
Angle que fait la direction du nord magnétique avec celle du nord géographique en un lieu et à
un instant donné. On trouve mention de sa valeur relevée pour le centre de la carte, à la date de
réalisation de la carte. Elle varie dans le temps et dans l’espace, sur chaque carte une indication
de sa variation annuelle est également donnée. Par exemple, “variation annuelle de 0.16 grades
vers l’est”.
