Géostatistique
Définition
La géostatistique (qui aurait pu venir de géologie statistique selon certains) provient historiquement de l'estimation des gisements miniers, mais son domaine d'application actuel est beaucoup plus large et tout phénomène spatialisé peut être étudié en utilisant ces méthodes. (Réf : geostatistique)
D'autres utilisent ce terme pour qualifier la cartographie spatiale des statistiques.
