L’association GeoRezo.net est à l’initiative, en 2002, d'une démarche de reconnaissance des métiers de l'information géographique portée dès 2003 en inter-réseau avec l’AFIGEO et le CNIG. Son but est de mieux connaître et faire connaître nos métiers en cernant mieux les conditions d'accès ou d'exercice, les activités communes exercées et les compétences mobilisées, mais aussi les besoins et problèmes rencontrés par cette jeune profession.
