- Description courte: Convertisseur simple permettant la traduction des fichiers du cadastre numérique au format EDIGéO PCI vers le format d'échange généraliste SIG MIF/MID. Développé en perl, il fonctionne aussi bien sous Unix/Linux que sous Windows.
- Description détaillée :
Edi2mif est Convertisseur simple EDIGEO PCI vers MIF/MID. Simple signifie qu'il y a peu de vérification sur l'échange EDIGéO et que l'on risque d'obtenir des résultats imprévisibles en cas de données non cohérentes en entrée… Cependant, il a été testé sur plusieurs centaines de communes et les erreurs les plus fréquentes des fichiers EDIGéO PCI sont repérées et corrigées si possible (certains polygones peuvent être incomplets ou éclatés si le message “ERREUR de chaînage pour [nom d'objet] (arc [n° d'arc]) impossible à corriger !!!” apparaît).
Simple signifie aussi qu'il n'y a qu'un seul format de sortie : MIF/MID, et optionnellement le format MapInfo natif TAB. A cet effet, le traducteur produit un fichier IMPORT.WOR qu'il suffit de lancer avec MapInfo pour créer les fichiers MapInfo TAB.
Simple est aussi la raison pour laquelle il a été écrit en perl (basique pour le rendre indépendant du système d'exploitation), langage très efficace pour faire du traitement de texte un peu sophistiqué, et qu'il n'y a pas d'interface graphique. Cela permet aussi de créer des scripts automatisant l'importation d'un ou plusieurs lots de données, ce qui permet de récupérer une nouvelle version avec une seule commande.
Une symbolisation par défaut est associée aux objets créés. Elle peut être modifiée (table au début du code source), de même que le nom des fichiers résultant de la traduction.
Le programme bien que peu optimisé, est néanmoins assez rapide, au dire des utilisateurs ayant traduit des départements entiers, la partie la plus longue est la conversion des MIF/MID en fichiers TAB.
NB: C'est du logiciel “libre” (Cf ci-dessus), et donc si vous voulez mieux, à vous de vous retrousser les manches…
Notes de version
- edi2mif v1.4.0 : Amélioration de la prise en charge des projection, notamment lambert 93, Lambert 93 CC (42 à 50) et celles des DOM. Mise en place d'une projection par défaut pour permettre l'importation en cas de code projection non reconnu.
