Introduction
Ce dossier porte sur les différentes solutions de SIG mobiles, disponibles pour l'utilisateur de couple GPS/PDA sur plate forme ouverte tel Windows Mobile.

Description
gvSIG Mobile est une version réduite de gvSIG, adaptée pour les systèmes mobiles. Il accepte les formats shapefile, ECW, WMS et peut utiliser les systèmes GPS.
Pour l'instant, seul la visualisation des couches et la génération de waypoints/tracklogs. Une extension de GvSIG Mobile permet l'exportation de gvSIG version PC fixe vers la version Mobile.

Logiciel bureautique / nomade
Ce post sur la liste de diffusion internationale explique comment recompiler les sources de la version mobile de gvsig pour rendre l'outil exécutable sur PC (windows et linux), on trouve aussi un fichier .zip contenant un exécutable pour winXP. Disposant d'une antenne GPS usb externe, ce système marche très bien (en tout cas aussi bien que la version mobile). ça permet d'abord de tester l'outil avant (avec ou sans GPS) et ainsi de l'évaluer, et au final on trouve une solution SIG nomade à moindre coup (voir tarifs d'une antenne GPS usb).

Description
Cette solution de la société D3E permet de cartographier tout type d'objet (point, ligne, surface) et d'y associer des données attributaires. Ces données sont stockées au format AGI(propriétaire) ou shapefile (utilisé dans tous les SIG). Cette solution permet de travailler en mode différentiel DGPS EGNOS pour obtenir une meilleur précision (sous réserve de réception des signaux d'EGNOS) et de charger un fond RASTER sur le PDA.
Cette solution légère ne permet pas de faire du post-traitement avec les données de correction de l'IGN, ce qui donne comme résultat final une précision entre 5 et 10m ou 2-3 mètres si réception d'EGNOS.

OziExplorerCE permet de se localiser en temps réel sur un fond numérique de type raster, par exemple (SCAN25, orthophotos)
Il ne fait pas de calcul de réseau routier sur un fond pré-existant (ex : aller le plus vite possible d'un point A à un point B). Toutefois, il est possible de créer ses propres routes et naviguer sur celles ci. Le principe est de préparer sa route sur OziExplorer PC et d'exporter les waypoints sur le PDA en utilisant OziExplorer CE
