Acronyme de Modèle Numérique de Terrain. Le Modèle Numérique de Terrain est une représentation numérique simplifiée de la surface au sol d’un territoire, en coordonnées altimétriques (le plus souvent exprimées en mètres par rapport au niveau de la mer) et planimétriques, calées dans un repère géographique. Pour simplifier, le MNT représente le sol uniquement sans végétation ou bâtiment).
