Acronyme de Modèle Numérique de Surface. Les Modèles Numériques de Surface (MNS) sont des modèle de surface topographique décrivant les constructions, lavégétation, les routes (sur-sol), et/ou les caractéristiques du terrain (sol). Pour simplifier, le MNS est l'appellation générique pour les modèles qui décrivent le sol et/ou le sur-sol.
